Old Lyme
Lyme, or Lyme Regis, is a lovely, historic town on the coast of West Dorset. Probably best known for its Cob, the curved stone breakwater protecting the harbour, it has associations with fossils, John Fowles (The French Lieutenant's Woman, A Maggot), smuggling.
